Trinity Yachts launch 50-meter superyacht "Tsumat"
United States yacht builder Trinity Yachts finished 2011 well and they have started 2012 in similar fashion. They have launched their latest yacht built under hull ID T057. She is a 50-meter superyacht designed by Trinity Yachts themselves.
Her name is "Tsumat" and is a tri-deck all aluminum superyacht. She is powered by a pair of CAT 3516B-HD engines each with 3,384 horse power. Top speed from this engine package is expected to be around 22.5-knots. Tsumat has been classed as follows; ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service, AMS and MCA compliance.
A look at her plans suggest that she has accommodation for ten guests. On the forward end of the main deck is the Master Suite, taking advantage of the panoramic windows that we have grown accustomed to by Trinity Yachts. Heesen's 65-meter FDHF superyacht hull and superstructure joined
A milestone has been reached in the construction of the first hull in Heesen's 65-meter Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) series. The hull and superstructure of YN 16465 are now joined together to form the shell of the yacht.
The mating of the two structures happened late last year in December. YN 16465 is expected to be completed by June 2013. A quick look at some of the stand out features of the 65-meter, according to Heesen she will have a top speed of 27-knots with a range of 4,200 nautical miles. She'll have five gyro-stabilizers, a touch-and-go heli-pad, beach club, large swim platform, 6 cabin layout, main deck master and upper deck VIP as well as Forward gull-wing tender garage.
Naval Architecture has been done by Van Oossanen Naval Architects b.v. while the design has been penned by Omega Architects. Bannenberg and Rowell are on the interior design...
First 26-meter 'WallyAce' nearing completion
Different? Definitely. She is simple yet interesting to look at. The design teased us in the form of renderings and now she is coming alive in the form of a real yacht. Coming soon, the first hull in the 26-meter 'WallyAce' series will be launched. The first hull is in the final build stages and will soon be launched.
The WallyAce has several unique features for such a small vessel. For starters, there is a large master stateroom that is situated aft in the hull. The bed is oriented to the aft to face the wall of windows that provide stunning views from the stern of the WallyAce. Accommodation overall is for six to eight guests and four crew members.
There is a garage large enough to host a 6-meter tender and toys. Superior deck spaces blend seamlessly with the large glass-walled saloon. She has a sculpted design and whisper-quiet engines for efficient passage...
Heesen announces delivery of 55-meter "Serenity" superyacht
Heesen Yachts has delivered its largest displacement vessel to date. MY "Serenity", launched last December in Oss the Netherlands has been intensively tested in the rough waters of the North Sea and its delivery has been recently completed.
MY Serenity is a 55m milestone in this Dutch Shipyard’s history: Heesen Yachts was already a world leader in the design, engineering and construction of all-aluminium, semi-displacement fast yachts in 1992 when they entered the traditional steel displacement yacht market with the launch of the 50metre motor yacht "Achiever" in collaboration with OceAnco. Since then they have successfully built 15 long-range full-displacement vessels, confirming their ability in this very competitive field. Palmer Johnson 65.5-meter Project "Stimulus" sold
The newest sale for U.S yacht manufacturer Palmer Johnson recently materialized. She is a 65.5-meter superyacht from their large Sport Yacht line. Palmer Johnson describes the series as being...fierce and feminine, this magnificent Sport Yacht is the largest beauty to expand the Series. The vessel is currently known as Project "Stimulus".
Project Stimulus was sold through ***** Yacht and Ship and represents the largest yacht sold for 2012 thus far. Additionally she is another successful sale for Palmer Johnson through them having had multiple new sales in the last few years.
She possibly will carry twin MTU 16V 4000 ADEC M93L marine engines feeding from approximately 70,000 LT capacity fuel tanks. Top speed was originally set at 30-knots in the PJ 210 model. Some highlights in the design are large pools, the largest is built-in to the foredeck...
OceAnco launch 88.5-meter 'Y707' superyacht
World renowned Dutch superyacht manufacturer OceAnco have just launched their first yacht of 2012 and their latest yacht overall. She is the massive 88.50-meter superyacht built under the hull designation Y707 at OceAnco. Naval Architecture of Y707 has been shared between OceAnco themselves and Azure. The smooth and balanced exterior lines are the work of Sam Sorgiovanni. The interior is also by Sorgiovanni.
Y707 has been constructed in steel and aluminum featuring accommodation for the owner in 1 X Master Suite that includes a jacuzzi on the private exterior deck. There is also 1 X VIP-type suite boasting his and hers ensuite bathrooms as well as a lounge and finally four further VIP-type double guest cabins exist.

Heesen launches 44-meter "Lady L" megayacht
Heesen Yachts is proud to announce that on January 13th 2012, YN 15944, formerly Project Zentric, was launched at their facility in Oss, the Netherlands. The Owner has christened her MY "Lady L". This vessel is the eighth in the successful 44 meter all-aluminium class: The first, YN 13644 MY "Sedation", was launched back in 2007. YN 15944 was begun as a project “on stock project” by the shipyard.
YN 15944 (Lady L) is the third of the four contracts Heesen signed in 2011. Last November, through Nakhimov Yachts, they sealed the deal and just two months later were able to celebrate the launch. Building in aluminium to enormously demanding tolerances, the Heesen hull-form is unique – quite simply no other ship shape can so effectively optimise the way a yacht moves through the water...
Lurssen splashes and transfers hull of 85M Project "Niki"
German custom superyacht manufacturer Lurssen set the 85-meter Project "Niki"/"Nicki" down their slipway and into the surrounding waters. This happened on the 17th of January 2012, not very long after the final launching of the Project Rocky now called "ACE".
Niki is to be transferred to into the same indoor building shed that ACE occupied, for fitout and completion towards her final launch in Summer 2013. Niki's balanced and sleek design has been penned by Espen Oeino. On the interior Aileen Rodriguez is working to complete the interior design from renderings to reality. She will be a highly voluminous superyacht especially with 13.80-meter BOA and a length that is approximately 85.10-meters.

Feadship launches 67-meter "Drizzle" superyacht
Over the weekend Dutch yacht builder Feadship launched 67-meter hull 683, "Drizzle", at their Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw facilities in Aalsmeer, The Netherlands. The full-custom vessel is a new take on the owners' previous yacht, a 55-meter Feadship as well.
Drizzle’s exterior offers a blend of classic and modern, with a traditional low profile and contemporary feel. “Taking "Twizzle" as the design template, it was a major challenge to retain her classic light lines while extending the vessel by over 20 percent,” says Ruud Bakker from Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. “We also added further refinements in terms of functionality, such as the central staircase that facilitates both guest and crew access to the sun deck...
Bering's 75-foot trawler-yacht
Her ship-like appeal and appearance as well as size places her firmly at the top of the Bering yachts range. She is a 75-foot ocean-going trawler-yacht with three decks. Designed to weigh in at around 340,000 lbs or roughly 155-tonnes the 75-foot steel-hulled yacht has an astounding 4,500 nautical mile range at an estimated speed of 9.6-knots.
She is available in either single or dual engine configuration. In any case she is carrying Cummins brand engine plant. In the single engine configuration she holds a Cummins QSK19M 660 horse power engine running at 1,800 HP. The engine package will be feeding on 5,000 gallons of fuel with a top speed of 11.3-knots attainable.
On the interior, the Bering 75' carries five cabins. One is for the owner with a large 'King Island' bed. The other four cabins for guests vary between twin and double berths. She has a near 24-foot beam, making ample space both indoors and on deck...
Conrad Yachts 115' motor sailer
Polish yard Conrad Yachts are currently building a 115-foot long ketch-rigged motor sailer. An interesting team of industry professionals have come together to design all-round, the aesthetics and working functions of this new yacht that is set to stand out among the many sail yachts of the world.
Dutch design and Naval Architect studio Vripack are onboard with this project as well as Polish Naval Architect Juliusz Strawinski in addition to German design studio Newcruise and the in-house team at Conrad Yachts together make a power team.
The new Conrad 115 is being built to meet both Lloyd's Register and MCA class requirements. She is being described as a family sail cruiser to be optimized for safe long distance sailing with the family giving all the advantages of a sailing yacht with a more than respectable beam to make conditions onboard comfortable...
Perini Navi 50M Ketch nearing completion and for sale
A new 50-meter luxury sailing yacht is presently nearing completion by Italian yacht manufacturer Perini Navi. She is hull C. 2173 at Perini Navi and is set up to be a ketch-rigged sailing yacht.
A look at the interior shows that she is stylistically minimal in nature with greys, browns and blacks being used as the colour palette. The texures are brought forth through the use of matching natural stone, leather and wood.
Collaborative work between Ron Holland and Perini Navi ensure that this luxury yacht will be fully optimized for performance sailing. A quick look at Perini's specifications for this yacht show that she will have a total sail area just under 12,000 ft M. The 430-tonne all-aluminum vessel will a CAT 3412E engine for motoring and be able to 40,000 LT of fuel and motor at a top speed of 14.5 knots. Her range at 12-knots is estimated at 4,200 nautical miles...

Horizon launches EP148 superyacht
Horizon's first major launch occured last week at the manufacturer's yard facility. She is a member of Horizon's 'EP' Series and is the flagship of that particular series. Heesen launches 44-meter "Lady L" megayacht
The latest Heesen luxury yacht has been launched today by the Dutch yacht manufacturer. She is the 44-meter "Lady L" YN 15944, known before as 'Project Zentric'. Heesen announced back in mid-November that Project Zentric had been sold and to pass that cusp of success, she has been launched! Lady L is now the eighth 44-meter yacht by Heesen. The first vessel (YN 13644 MY "Sedation") was launched back in 2007.
YN 15944 (Lady L) was the third contract signed in 2011 and in such an economic climate this demonstrates that there will always be a market for superb quality and technical excellence, both qualities that this Dutch superyacht builder excels in. And by acquiring a yacht already under construction, there is no extended lead-time.

Hull 2 of Codecasa's 'Vintage' 42-meter series
Italian yacht manufacturer Codecasa Yachts is well underway with the construction of the second hull of their 'Vintage' 42-meter line. In fact the second hull, F.75 is currently outfitting and expected to launch in 2012.
Ten guests are included in the sleeping accommodation of a Master, two doubles and a twin. The seven crew will sleep in three twin and one captain's cabin. Technically speaking F.75 is expected to run on dual CAT engines, 3512B's to be precise.
Top speed is anticipated to be 17-knots. A 4,000 nautical mile range at 11-knots can be extracted from her 60,000 LT capacity fuel oil tanks. She is being built in steel and aluminum and is MCA compliant as well as classed under Lloyds Register...

Trinity Yachts 63.40-meter superyacht
U.S yacht builder Trinity Yachts is working on a 63.40-meter superyacht. The vessel is currently in the outfitting stages under build number T058. The near 210-foot long new yacht has been built in all aluminum, both superstructure and hull and classed ABS.
She is likely to be run by twin MTU 16V 4000 M90 engines and has classification to ABS Maltese Cross A1 Yachting Service, AMS and is also MCA Compliant. She spreads over four decks with an open-air sun deck. Trinity Yachts dealt with the Naval Architecture and the interior hosts cabins for twelve guests in what appears to be six cabins, four doubles, a VIP and a Master. Launching is expected to be in 2012.

Sunseeker building 155-foot superyacht
Sunseeker's new flagship tri-deck 155 Yacht is now in build, and the first is due to launch in 2014. With a 4500 nautical mile range, this is the first ever semi-displacement, round bilge and long keel hull from Sunseeker. The 155 Yacht takes the concept of series building with personal customization a step further than others, the modular composite build methodology virtually allowing owners a free hand, not just in the interior but also in the design of the actual superstructure. With a top speed of up to 26 knots the 155 Yacht will accommodate up to 12 guests and 10 crew members.
Provision for 60,000 LT of fuel has been made in four tanks while 11,000 LT in two tanks are for fresh water. Some quick dimensions include an overall length of 47.25-meters, beam just under 10-meters (9.40) and maximum draft of 2.66-meters...
Sunseeker debuts 28-meter sport yacht
UK yacht builder Sunseeker officially unveiled their 28-meter sport yacht at the London Boat Show. The vessel made its debut at the show on Friday the 6th of January. She made her grand world debut with a stunning performance by the group Asteria onboard. Specially invited guest Tamara Ecclestone made an appearance as well. Additionally, the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon was done by Sunseeker's President and Founder Mr. Robert Braithwaite.
Reaching new heights in the design and use of ultra modern materials has given rise to this extraordinary motoryacht.
